Welcome to the blog of the Bolder Options team that is headed to Amsterdam to run the Amsterdam Marathon on the 18th October. We are well into our preparations that will have us ready to travel in October. Heres a brief recap for those who are just joining us.
Travel Planning
- Selected Adventure Vacations to be our travel partner
- We will be spending Oct 15 to Oct 21 in Amsterdam
- We will spend our stay at the wonderful Amsterdam Hotel V Frederiksplein (www.hotelv.nl)
Training
- We have started group runs every Saturday
- Anyone who wants to join us is most welcome
Fundraising
- Had a couple of phonathons to help us fundraise as a group
- Did a fundraiser with the Twins
- Most of us are fundraising on our own
Fun Stuff
- Most of the team will be running the Ragnar Relay from Winona to Minneapolis on Aug 21 and Aug 22
- We plan to tweet our way in - watch this space for information on how to follow us
